Recent award to Lt Cdr A S "Tank" Murray AFC RN

I recently (28 May 2015) received my Master Air Pilots Certificate from the Honourable Company of Air Pilots which was awarded in April 2014 but I was unable to collect until recently.

I have attached a photo of the presentation from the Master of the Company.

It was awarded to reflect "an aviation career of achievement and distinction" and is signed by HRH The Duke of York who is the Grand Master of the Company.

July 2015:  "Last Friday I achieved my 8000^th flying hour whilst en-route to BRNC Dartmouth to complete a flypast for their Summer Ball.  This gives me over 7600 on various types of Sea King as well.  I haven’t any photos yet, but one photo of me is probably enough to scare most of the readers so you probably don’t want another anyway."
