Pre-election period (purdah)

 The pre-election period (purdah) is the term used to describe the period between the time an election is announced and the date the election is held. 

As such, and in line with previous elections,  the Association will observe discretion about making new announcements or decisions that could influence voters.  This means that there will be an inevitable reduction in the news and social media we make available to our members.
