In & Out (Naval & Military Club) Essay Competition

The In & Out (Naval and Military Club) is calling for entries to its 2021 Essay Prize. The purpose of the competition is to encourage original thought and analysis of current geopolitics and conflict. The competition is open to all members of the In & Out and their families, and to any person who is a member or former member in good standing of the armed and other government services of the UK or its treaty allies.

Two prizes of £250 Club Credit (used for Food & Beverage or Accommodation) will be awarded: Senior Essayist Prize (31 years of age and above), Younger Essayist Prize (up to and including 30 years of age). Runners up will receive an encomium/commendation.

Submissions, 5-7000 words in length are to be submitted by 30 November 2021 . Results will be declared around the New Year. There will be a presentation dinner for winners at the Club in February 2022.
