4000hrs and counting
Lt Cdr Anthony ‘Johno’ Johnson achieved another flying milestone this week when he completed his 4000th hour which equates to nearly 167 days in the air! Lt Cdr Johnson, the Squadron Warfare Officer on 815 Naval Air Squadron was also delighted to share his 4000 hour cake in the crew room ahead of another busy week of flying. Roll on 5000!
This achievement once again marks years of hard work and dedication and highlight the professionalism of the Engineers and support staff within the Wildcat Maritime Force in maintaining the Royal Navy’s fleet of Wildcat Mk2 helicopters. 815 Naval Air Squadron continues to operate globally with the delivery of Wildcat Mk2 Flights to the front line whilst also maintaining a very high readiness cadre based at RNAS Yeovilton
