Fleet Air Arm Charity Shoot

Royal Berkshire Shooting School
07Sep2022

Fun, flying and fundraising is the name of the game at the Fleet Air Arm Charity Shoot in aid of Navy Wings at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School on Wednesday 7 September 2022.

Owned by James Purdey & Sons, makers of the world’s finest shotguns and rifles, the Royal Berkshire Shooting School is one of the top shooting schools in the country. Enjoy a prestigious sporting day with the Fleet Air Arm in the beautiful Berkshire countryside and get your eye in with the high-flyers!

The day starts at 9.00 am with a relaxing breakfast in the Shoot Lodge before collecting your gun from the Royal Berks Gun Room, one of the finest gun rooms in the country. Move off at 10.00 am and spend the morning shooting over ten stands with elevenses in the field.

The Royal Berks offers the highest standard of instruction to help improve your technique and marksmanship. Try your hand with a selection of fine Purdey shotguns and take part in a simulated pheasant flush with 30-40 clays flying overhead in 3-4 minutes!

Relax into a leisurely afternoon with a champagne reception, flypast by the Navy Wings historic Seafire and a highly enjoyable lunch with catering by Top Nosh. If you love fun, banter and beautiful old aeroplanes this is a day not to be missed!

The day is much more about camaraderie than competition but with great prizes to be won, including Top Gun, Top Lady and Top Team there’s plenty of rivalry and revelry! Bid in the Auction for a flight in a Wasp Helicopter, a Tiger Moth or champagne tea on The Thames.
