Battle of the Atlantic commemorations - Receptions aboard HM Ships

The Fly Navy Heritage Trust has organised charity receptions aboard HMS Illustrious in London on Saturday 11 May and aboard HMS Bulwark in Liverpool on Friday 24 May.

Supporting the Royal Navy’s Aviation Heritage

HMS Illustrious will be moored in the River Thames on the buoy at Greenwich, A boat service will be available from Greenwich Pier. The evening will include a flypast by the Royal Navy’s historic Swordfish and the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines will Beat Retreat. Ticket Price £30.00 a head. All proceeds will go to the Fly Navy Heritage Trust Battle of the Atlantic Appeal.

HMS Bulwark will be berthed in Canada Dock on the River Mersey, Liverpool, approx. one mile North West of Liverpool City Centre. Car parking is available. Ticket price £30.00 a head. All proceeds will go to the Fly Navy Heritage Trust Battle of the Atlantic Appeal.

 You do not need to be a member of any Fleet Air Arm association to attend these events. Veterans of the Battle of the Atlantic will be especially welcome. Fliers and application forms are available at the links below.
