2013 marks the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic and the Trust has worked closely with the Royal Navy, Merchant Navy and MOD to pay tribute to all those who served in that ruthless and relentless campaign. The Swordfish, one of the last remaining links with campaign, led the national commemorative events with fly pasts in London and Liverpool last month and the Trust was greatly privileged to share the memories of the many Fleet Air Arm Battle of the Atlantic veterans who attended our Battle of the Atlantic Receptions in HMS Illustrious in London on 11 May and HMS Bulwark in Liverpool on 24 May.

We would like to thank all our Supporters for the overwhelming response to these events and for the many kind donations and thank you letters we have received. May we also take this opportunity to draw your attention to our website  www.fnht.co.uk with the latest news, stories and photographs and to the Royal Navy Historic Flight web site
www.royalnavyhistoricflight.org.uk for dates and details of the Royal Navy Historic Flight air displays around the country.

Future dates for your diary include:

Wednesday 24 July
RNAS Culdrose Air Day
The Commando Aviation Heritage Dinner, Merchant Taylors Hall, London

Friday 6 September
Candlelit Concert St Bart's Fleet Air Arm Memorial Church

Friday 20 September
Legacy Seminar, Heritage Flying Display and Lunch RNAS Yeovilton

Saturday 5 October
Supporters' Open Day and Reunion at RNAS Yeovilton. An opportunity to meet the Royal Navy Historic Flight, see the aircraft and enjoy a flying display and lunch with comrades and friends.

During this year's 70th Anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic we remember with pride and humility the service and sacrifice of everyone who has served with the Fleet Air Arm and their families and friends. The Royal Naval Air Service and Fleet Air Arm has a unique place in history and your support to our heritage is greatly valued and appreciated.

With best wishes,
