Remembrance Week
In the week leading up to Remembrance Sunday, BBC Daytime celebrates stories of courage and sacrifice made by thousands of people from the UK during times of war. Each year the BBC films a series of 45 programmes. They are shown one on each day of the week leading up to Remembrance Sunday. This year the series will include
Sinking of the Bismarck – Jock Moffat
Evacuees – the City of Benares
Injured Marine – Ben McBean
Navy Medic – Liam O’Grady
Falklands – George Wiseman
Timings not yet known, but in 2010 and 2011 the programmes were on at 09.15 in the morning.
Don't forget to send in the form in the News Sheet if you want to march in this year's Cenotaph parade. You can also see the form at events.
