Rear Admiral Scott Lidbetter QCVS

Scott Lidbetter left the Royal Navy as a Rear Admiral after a successful career spanning three decades where he was a helicopter & fighter pilot, commanded 3 warships and a Naval Air Station. Scott has subsequently specialised in the superyacht, maritime security and not-for-profit sectors: he is the Special Adviser for the Monaco based yacht company Y.CO and non-executive Chairman of Veritas International, a maritime private security company.

His extensive international background has been focused on business development into new markets, mentoring and providing strategic consultancy for senior board members and restructuring start-up businesses in their second period of growth. Scott is co-founder of the not-for-profit International Wildlife Trust, dedicated to disrupting transnational wildlife crime, special adviser to the fine wine company Chelsea Vintners and special advisor to Berkeley Rand, an off-grid experiential technology design house.

Scott is a Freeman of the City of London and holds Queen’s Commendations for Valuable Service and Valuable Service in the Air.
