On this day 15 May 1972 Junglie squadrons moved to Yeovilton
As part of the redistribution of FAA units during the run down of fixed wing flying, Wessex HU.5s of 707 and 846 Squadrons moved from RNAS Culdrose to RNAS Yeovilton, followed in September by 845 Squadron and in December by 848 Squadron.
The Junglie Squadrons, now known as Commando Helicopter Force, have remained at Yeovilton ever since. They now flying the Sea King Mk.4.
