MILITARY Vs CANCER at RNAS YEOVILTON
MILITARY Charity collection hopes to raise over £100,000 nationally in the fight against cancer.
Warrant Officer David Bathgate brought the Military Vs Cancer collection to Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton this week.
Volunteers from the Air Station helped with collections at all the gates on the station as employees arrived at work on 15th May 2018.
Military Vs Cancer 2018 is an organisation that raises money in aid of Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. It encourages members of all three Armed Forces to join together to raise funds.
WO David Bathgate said;
“On behalf of Military Vs Cancer I would like to thank you for raising an amazing total of £682.43. The volunteers and personnel at RNAS Yeovilton should be justifiably proud of themselves for being so welcoming and generous. The total raised is now in excess of £13000, 00 though there is still a way to go to reach the target of £100,000.”
We wish them every success as they continue their year long journey around the country visiting every Military Establishment. ! BZ and Good Luck.
