HMS Defender

During the recent Operational Sea Training for HMS DEFENDER, FOST Captain Sea Training (South), Capt Tim Peacock hosted 3 of his FAA mentees and 2 former ‘Flying Tiger’ colleagues from 814 NAS. Simon Cooper (formerly SOBS 814) and Rob Drewett (formerly CO 814) together with the 3 young officers were treated to a VIP view of a Thursday War. Witnessing the first ever embarkation of a Merlin to a T45 this was a fantastic opportunity to reveal the exciting future for the FAA to some of its future and past operators.
