D Day Remembered.

845 Naval Air Squadron supported D Day commemorations in Normandy by flying the US Chief of Staff of the Army General James C McConville and UK Chief of the General Staff General Sir Patrick Sanders to Caen, France. The flight took in the Normandy landing beaches of Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. Flying over Pegasus Bridge and one of the military cemeteries added poignancy.
