Some recent milestones.

The third section of the massive 'ski-jump' ramp was added to Queen Elizabeth, 3 October. This section weighs in at 82 tonnes.

The mast cap has been fitted to the forward island of the Queen Elizabeth carrier in Rosythe 16 October.

Ring C was successfully moved to the rest of lower block LB02 of the Prince of Wales and consolidation of the block continues.

The original HMS Queen Elizabeth was launched 16 October 1913 the first of five super-dreadnaught battleships.

An interesting image has been produced showing the size of the new carriers.
