826 Naval Air Squadron Falklands 40th Anniversary Reunion

Published: 28 Jul 2022

There was recently a reunion celebrating the 40th homecoming anniversary of 826 NAS from the Falkland Islands in 1982.  It took place at the Victory Services Club and was very well attended by veterans from all corners of the globe.

In 1982 826 ‘Superstars’ were the largest embarked squadron in the FAA and the largest unit of the Flagship HMS Hermes.  A website has been set up at http://www.826superstars40th.uk with many pictures and memories of the conflict contributed by squadron veterans.
