811 NAS

Published: 02 Mar 2016

Geoffrey Bussy is looking for Officers of No.811 Squadron who were in service in the years just after the war. He is now putting together an article covering the de Havilland Mosquitoes and Sea Mosquitoes used by the Fleet Air Arm. Unfortunately no Operational Record Book of No.811 Squadron is available at the FAA Museum, nor at the National Archives. So, he would like to contact Officers who served with No.811 Squadron from September 1945 to July 1947 in order to get information.  He would be very glad to hear back from members if they could help and share memories.  His background includes having written books on naval aircraft in the Warpaint Series as well as articles for British and French magazines.
