£25.00This is a copy of the 6 foot by 4 foot acrylic on canvas painting presented by the FAAOA to the new Wardroom Mess at RNAS Yeovilton in September 2002. The artist is Ronald Wong of the guild of Aviation Artists.
The painting depicts and commemorates Naval Air Fighter School based at Yeovilton from 1940 to 2002 over the airfield as it looks today. The aircraft depicted are: SEA HARRIER, F-4 PHANTOM, SEA VIXEN, SEA VENOM, SEAFIRE, CORSAIR, WILDCAT, SEA GLADIATOR.
Color prints of this painting, approximate size 24 x 18 inches, are available through the FAAOA office unsigned or signed by the artist and aircrew.
