On Friday 22^nd September, Navy Wings will host one of the last remaining Fleet Air Arm Korean War pilots, Brian ‘Smoo’ Ellis, as he talks about the day as a Sub-Lieutenant on 802 Naval Air Squadron, he took part in the dog-fight that shot down the MiG-15 over North Korea.

There will also be the opportunity to discuss the restoration of the T20 Sea Fury. We aim to hold a flying display, and the Navy wings heritage aircraft will be on display and available for inspection, attended by naval aviation experts and veterans who flew them.
The day commences at 0915 at Yeovilton, and includes lunch and refreshments in the Wardroom Mess at RNAS Yeovilton.
