HMS Pegasus Commissioning

The Royal Naval Reserve Air Branch will be commissioned as HMS Pegasus on 13th October 2022. This will be the first commissioning under a King since 1948.
The last commissioning under a King was HMS Acheron, under King George VI. She was an Amphion-class submarine, commissioned on 17th April 1948 and was eventually scrapped in 1972.
