This web site is maintained by members of the Fleet Air Arm Officers’ Association (the Association) as both an Internet-based educational resource for persons worldwide wishing to learn about the Fleet Air Arm, its history and its current organisation together with a “members-only” sub site for the specific benefit of members of the Association in good standing.

The Association receives a great deal of materials from outside or private contributors. By submitting materials to this site, the contributor gives us the right to use or modify said material on the web site and for projects as seen fit.

To the best of our knowledge, the materials submitted are the property of the individuals or organisations submitting them. The Association does realise that contributors may not be the actual owners/authors of materials submitted. In particular many historical photographs are in the possession of members as such items when produced, in some instances many years ago, were at the time widely distributed. Unfortunately, it is often difficult to confirm exact ownership/authorship. Material and images sent to the website will generally carry an acknowledgement as to the donor. Therefore, if copyrighted materials have been inadvertently published without proper permission, it has not been done deliberately.
