The One Show 'Live' from HMS Illustrious 9 May 2013

BBC One’s topical magazine show, The One Show, will be live from HMS Illustrious on Thursday 9 May. As part of the Royal Navy’s Battle of the Atlantic 70th anniversary commemoration events, the show will broadcast live from her moorings in Greenwich at 19:00 on BBC One.

HMS Illustrious is sailed from her baseport of Portsmouth to London for a formal visit, part of the Battle of the Atlantic commemorations. Joining the ship for the transit was a film crew from BBC's "The One Show". They filmed several segments throughout the ship; including being out on deck when a lynx helicopter landed.
