Sea Vixen appeal

Published: 10 Feb 2014

The last airworthy Sea Vixen XP924/G-CVIX took to the skies again this year thrilling the crowds with a spectacular display at RNAS Culdrose Air Day in July but the future of this classic Fleet Air Arm fighter is uncertain.

Her owner has offered to gift her to the Royal Navy. However, she will need sponsorship, expertise and a dedicated support group to keep her flying. The Sea Vixen has a tremendous following amongst aircrew and enthusiasts alike. If you can help please contact Commodore Bill Covington at [email protected]
