On this day 24 April 1916 Submarine seaplane float-off trials
Submarine E22 conducts float-off trials of two Sopwith Schneider seaplanes on the 24th of April 1916. She was torpedoed and sunk off Yarmouth by German submarine UB-18 the very next day.
