HMS Ark Royal decommissioned in Portsmouth after 25 years' service following the 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review. 

After ArkRoyal's decommissioning HMS Albion replaced her as the Royal Navy flagship. On 20 May 2013 - Left Portsmouth for the last time to be scrapped at the same Turkish breakers yard as Invincible.

The Jetstream T2 was introduced at 750 NAS from October 1978 for Observer Training taking over from the Percival Sea Prince. 14 Jetstream T1 aircraft were modified by BAe at Prestwick to T2 standard. The Jetstream T2 flew its last sortie with 750 NAS on 11 March 2011. They were replaced by Beechcraft Super King Air 350ER Avenger T1 aircraft.
