HMS Ark Royal (RO7) was commissioned 1 November 1985 in Portsmouth. Launched 20 June 1981 at the Swan Hunter yard Wallesend, she was the third and last in the Invincible class.
She was decommissioned 11 March 2011 following the 2010 Strategic Defence Review.
