The latest course of Royal Naval Observers has passed fit for duty from 750 Naval Air Squadron at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose.

Basic Observers Flying training Course 11 started Royal Naval Observer training on 22 Sept 2014 and over the 16 weeks training course the students have completed up to 50 hours live flying in the Avenger T Mk1 aircraft.

The course has taught them the fundamental skills of air navigation, radar handling, communication, multi aircraft operations, search and rescue operations and mission management.

Using high tech state of the art training facilities provided by Ascent flight training, ensures that the student observer is fully prepared for the demands of Operational flying training on the Merlin Mk2 and the Wildcat.
