From the FAA Command WO, WO1 Paul Stevenson, giving details of a new Fleet Air Arm branded watch, available only to those who are serving or have served in the FAA.

It will be personalised with the owner’s name and service number, and is considerably more affordable than previous offerings.  Some of the proceeds will be donated to Navy Wings and the FAA Benevolent Trust.

300 expressions of interest are required in order for production to go ahead, so this may be an ideal time for Christmas presents to oneself, even though production will not happen until 2018.

"I am working with a company called Elliot Brown to provide an exclusive FAA Watch only available to serving and former members of the FAA.  Priced at £495 it is hoped that it will appeal to those who would wish to celebrate their service in the FAA with a quality time piece but perhaps could not afford or justify the expense of previous watches supplied by Breitling and Bremont.  For every watch sold Elliot Brown will donate £50 to FAA charities, FAA Benevolent Trust and Navy Wings.

The following link http://www.elliotbrownwatches.com/FAA will provides further details and offers the opportunity to provide an ‘Expression of Interest’.  In order for the watch to go into production 300 expression of interest are required."
