In their own words:

The term Fleet Air Arm came into being in 1924, however as early as 1903 the Admiralty was investigating kites and balloons for spotting.  The first Naval Aviator completed his flying training in 1910 and the first launch from a Royal Navy battleship was achieved by January of 1912.  From those early formative years of Naval Aviation to current operations their Naval personnel and aircraft have played a leading role, flying from ships deployed worldwide.

The ‘Fleet Air Arm Tartan’ is the only Officially Registered Tartan in the world, to celebrate the Fleet Air Arm.

This unique scarf is worn with pride in the UK and worldwide, by former, current, the future Fleet Air Arm personnel and their family, friends and supporters.  We have created this Authentic Tartan exclusively for you.  Weaving the DNA of the Fleet Air Arm into its very core, by incorporating these significant colours:-
BLUE: Represents the historical colour of the Royal Navy.
GOLD: Signifies the wings of the Fleet Air Arm.
BLACK: Is for the continual respect for all fallen Fleet Air Arm comrades.
RED, GREEN & WHITE: Are the colours within the Fleet Air Arm Crest.
ICE BLUE: Represents the beloved Fleet Air Arm Zig Zag.

All our scarves are beautifully wrapped in crisp white tissue paper and popped into our stylish pillow boxes. So when they arrive they are ‘gift ready’. Making it ideal, for us to send direct to your friends, relatives or loved ones, on your behalf, anywhere in the world!
