A New Commanding Officer at the helm

Yesterday a new Commanding Officer took the helm at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton

Home of the Fleet Air Arm welcomes Commodore (Cdre) Nick Tindal the new Commanding Officer of one of the busiest military air bases in Europe.

Dual qualified as a Fleet Air Arm pilot and surface warfare officer, Cdre Nick Tindal was born in London and raised in the west of Ireland but has since adopted Dorset as his home.

Cdre Jon Pentreath OBE handed over the reins to Cdre Nick Tindal after 18 months in Command of the busy Air Station and heads up the A303 to Andover to become Rear Admiral Pentreath, Commanding Officer of Joint Helicopter Command.
