The website of the Empire Test Pilots' School Association, www.etpsa.org.uk  details a Memorial Service to be held next Sun 20 Oct at 1500 marking 50th anniversary of BAC 1-11 crash nr Chicklade Wilts when Lt Cdr Mike Lithgow and entire test crew died. Details reproduced below.

Cratt Hill Lane is a turn northwards off the A303 in Chicklade. Please turn into the lane and follow signs to service. The site is over a mile up the track at the end of the lane.

To reach Cratt Hill Lane easily, we suggest:

EITHER take the road from Fonthill Bishop that meets the A303 at Fonthill Rings. Turn left (westbound), and just over a mile down the road you'll see a signboard showing a turn left to Hindon, and a turn right to a No Through Road. This is Cratt Hill Lane. Take this right turn:

OR turn left at the crossroads in Hindon, and go up to the traffic lights at the junction with the A350. Go under the A303, take the right turn on to the slip road, and turn left (eastbound) when you get to the junction with the A303. About a mile down the road you’ll see a signboard showing No Through Road to your left: (Hindon to your right). Take the left turn into Cratt Hill Lane.
