Family History Day at the Museum

With over two million records, many of which relate to service personnel, the Museum is attracting an ever growing number of enquiries from people keen to learn more about their family history.

Such has been the level of interest that the Museum’s Curatorial Department is holding a Family History Day on Thursday 8 November for people to find out more about how they can obtain information on their family history.

The day includes a family history workshop and talks by speakers from the Fleet Air Arm Museum, the National Archives at Kew on RN records and Merchant Navy, Royal Marines Museum and the Royal Navy Submarine Museum.

In addition, there will be a tour of the Museum’s Reserve Store and complete access to the Fleet Air Arm Museum.
