The Ulster Aviation Society collection based at the Long Kesh/Maze former prison site in Northern Ireland is currently working on Hawker Seahawk WN108

The following has been received: We would like to contact any officers, aircrew or engineers who served with 897 NAS circa 1956, any who served with 895 NAS through the Suez operation and any who served with 806 NAS 1957-58. This aircraft was at one time or another with these squadrons.

Also if there are any personnel who were attached to FRU from 1958-63 the Society would like to hear from them.

The Socierty is trying to build up a living history of the aircraft. (http://www.ulsteraviationsociety.org/).

Seahawk WN108 was coded 455 with 897 NAS and 895 NAS. Then in her stint with 806 NAS she was coded 184, With FRU she carried the code 033.

If you can assist please contact Graham Rainey in the first instance: boombangwallop@yahoo.co.uk
